Which UiPath Studio Version Should We Use for Developer Associate Certification Preparation (2024.10)?

Hi Community,

I have a question regarding the recommended UiPath Studio version for preparing for the UiPath Developer Associate certification.

Currently, the certification exam version is based on 2024.10, and the latest UiPath Academy courses are also aligned with version 2024.10. So, should we use UiPath Studio 2024.10 itself for learning and practice in order to get familiar with the same features, UI, and options shown in the course modules and certification exam?

The reason I’m asking is because when using other Studio versions, we noticed that some features, activities, and options do not exactly match what is shown in the 2024.10 Academy training materials. This sometimes creates confusion during practice.

Could anyone please suggest:

  • Which UiPath Studio version is best for certification preparation?
  • Is it recommended to practice specifically with Studio 2024.10?
  • Are there any differences that could affect the certification exam preparation?

Would appreciate guidance from anyone who recently completed or prepared for the certification.

Thank you!

You can try with latest version, that might help in your certification. Most of the properties will be same except the layout. but questions will be related to properties and how it will works.

Yes, it is recommended to practice with UiPath Studio 2024.10 since both the Academy courses and certification exam are aligned to that version. Using the same version helps avoid confusion with UI changes, activity behavior, and feature differences. You can explore newer versions later, but for certification prep, 2024.10 is the safest choice.

Yes, it is recommended to use UiPath Studio 2024.10 for preparation since both the Academy content and certification exam are aligned with that version.
This helps because the UI, activities, and options match the training materials, reducing confusion during practice.
Other versions may have slight UI or feature differences, but the core concepts remain the same.
