When starting unattended robot, it does not log in to my Azure VM

Hi,

My unattended robot does not log in to my Azure VM. I have given it the Windows Credentials, but it still keeps running in the background. I get following error message in my activity log on job:
“Send Enter to login: Cannot bring the target application in foreground because the Windows session is locked.”

Does anybody know why, and does anybody have a fix?

Kind regards, and thanks in advance!

@Martin_Juel_Andersen

  1. Did you install the robot in service mode?
  2. Did someone login to machine? If yea,Is the machine logged out before the bot run?

Cheers

Hi,

I do not know if the robot is installed in service mode, but I will try an re-install it.

Nobody is logged in to the machine as I am the only one with access, that’s why I find it weird.

@Martin_Juel_Andersen

Yes please…it ahould be installed in servixe mode for unattemded…

Alternately from robot settinngs on orchestrator you can select login to console option as turned off

Cheers

Hi again,

I am unable to find the service mode… Can you please lead me in the direction of it? I install Studio/Assistant Attended Robot > Go into advanced settings, but do not see Service Mode.

Login to Console is turned off.

@Martin_Juel_Andersen

You have to pick unattended for service mode…Attended will not have that

And Regarding log into console you have to enable the option and then turn it to off

Hope this helps

cheers

Thank you very much!

Great help :slight_smile:
