As a first step, try to update the UiPath.System.Activities package. Then try to add the Message Box activity and see what happens.
If you still see the issue, please post the error here. Also, let us know the UiPath Studio version.

Are you trying to add using drag and drop from activities panel or are you trying to click on plus icon in the design panel and then selecting the activity?
Try restarting the studio once and then try.

Ensure you are not adding this message box while it is running. if yes just stop and add.
Above case is not satisfied just post error message or while adding the message box what it shown

But i tried to reload the UiPath.System.Activities package, still it shows same issue as unable to add message box in my first case testing.
every time when i login studio and create new process it keeps loading all packages almost 80 items and same issue
unable to upload the err snapshot
can we get any teams or zoom call to get help asap

Can you try by downgrading the system.activities package from 26.8.1 to any lower version (26.6.3) try with this and let me know if it works.
restarted Studio and login again and able to use message box now, but while loading it shows below error

Under dependencies sectoin, right click on each package and select repair dependency. then see whether the error is still populating?

Tried under dependencies manage and click uninstall but again same error
Can you check UiPath.codedworkflows package, if its already available, if any update is available for that package please upgrade it if package itself is not available then install that package.
Change the system.activities package to latest one And Update the UiPath.codedworkflows package and see the error is rectified.

To do this, right-click on the UiPath.System.Activities dependency in your project and select the Manage option from the context menu.
Then, in the Manage Packages window, select Settings and check that the aforementioned items, Default package sources and User defined package sources, are checked, and that their source paths are correct. If they are not checked, check them to avoid NuGet package download issues.
Next, close UiPath Studio, open Windows Explorer (by pressing the Windows + E key combination), and locate your project folder (usually found in Documents\UiPath). Show hidden files (click the View button, then Show, and check the Hidden items option). The .local folder will appear; delete it completely.
Reopen your project from UiPath Studio and repair the dependencies (right-click on the UiPath.System.Activities dependency and select the Repair Dependency option).
NOTE (1): The .local folder is used to store local metadata and temporary files necessary for the execution and design of the workflow. Deleting this folder will not cause you to lose any of your code, activities, or main configuration files. UiPath Studio will automatically regenerate it from scratch the next time you open the project. Deleting this folder is one of the most common and effective technical support steps to resolve errors such as:
- Ghost validation errors (errors that appear even though the code is correct).
- Conflicts with activities or variables that have already been deleted but still appear.
- Cache problems after updating UiPath Studio or dependency packages.
NOTE (2): If by chance you have Microsoft Visual Studio installed on your PC (whether Community, Professional, or Enterprise), there is a possibility of “contamination” in the NuGet package sources. Therefore, it is advisable to check the Settings of Manage Packages. The problem is that, by default, Windows stores certain configurations and NuGet caches in global paths shared across your user system.

still same issue only and getting UiPath.system.activities dependenties error only. and also requested to install the .net framework visual studio from it team.
Dont know why this UiPath.System.[Activities] packages is not installing properly even i did multiple times
