What License applies to Workflows which are shared on the forum?

Hello there,

does anyone know what License applies to Workflows that are shared on the UiPath Forum?

For example any code from Stack Overflow is automatically licensed under the Creative Commons ShareAlike License Creative Commons — Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International — CC BY-SA 4.0

This means that the code is free for everyone to use but if you build upon it or transform the code, your License is also automatically free for everyone to use. So as a Company you lose your intellectual property and therefore code from Stack Overflow should only be read for understanding but never used by a company.

I wonder what applies to the numerous .xaml-Files that are often shared on here.

Kind Regards,
Lennart

So if you post anything, that means, you give them intellectual right to use it or recreate it as per need.

Could you please shed some light on it.

Hi @LennartM

While not specifically mentioned just yet, setting a default license for code published on the Forum is on our to do list for the next iteration of the Forum terms of use. We are looking into choosing a permissive open source license that will allow unrestricted collaboration between the users.

We are happy to listen to any input anyone may have on this topic, for which we could just as well use your topic
