What is use of context grounding search results?

What the use of this option and why does it only accept 5-15 integer values what do they represent? Can someone help on with this

Hi @Kancharla_Mahija

It is used in Document Understanding to control how much nearby text (context) around a search result is included to improve accuracy.

The value (5–15) represents the number of words taken before and after the matched keyword to give better context for classification or extraction.

Higher values give more context but may slow down processing.

To understand better,

if you select the value as 5- for any question you ask, the LLM will identify the first 5 results relevant to your question and generate the response based on these results. Benefit is that the result will be fast compared to 15.

If you select the value as 15, for any question you ask, the LLM will identfy the first 15 results relevant to your question and generate the response based on these results. Benefit is that it will give a detailed reply as it is pointed to 15 results. But the time taken for response will be more

Why between 5 and 15, If the reults are less than 5, accuracy will be less. If the results are more than 15 - it will be over complicated

hence the value is limited between 5 and 15
