What is the best way to connect to Excel?

There are two ways to implement it by using Excel application Scope or we can do it using the Connect activity…So I want to know which is the best way?? and WHY??

Excel application scope is specially designed for excel related operations. you can perform all the Read,Write,Append etc.

connect activity is for connecting to Database…

its always Flexible to use Excel application scope to handle excel files.
