For those who have already implemented AI Agentic Automation, I’d really appreciate your insights.
I’m currently doing research before starting an AI implementation project for my client. However, I’m struggling to find clear information about the standard project documentation that should be delivered similar to what we have in traditional RPA projects.
For example, in RPA we typically deliver documents such as PDD, SDD, and DSD.
But for AI Agentic Automation, I haven’t been able to find any equivalent documentation standards or best‑practice templates.
If you’ve gone through this journey, could you share what types of documents you delivered, or what documentation framework you followed?
no fixed standard like PDD and SDD in AI Agentic Automation but most teams extend RPA documents + add a few AI-specific ones
PDD & SDD (enhanced) include AI decision points prompts and human-in-loop
AI Use Case Capability Doc what AI does + expected accuracy
Prompt Design Doc prompts examples guardrails
Testing & Evaluation Plan how AI output is validated
Agent Design Doc if agentic roles actions workflow
Data & Governance Doc data handling compliance
so what is diff between UiPath Ai Agentic Automation with other AI Platform if UiPath not able to provide the standard Doc for AI Project?
In my view, UiPath should deliver a clear set of AI project documentation standards similar to how RPA projects come with PDD, SDD, and DSD. Having official templates, video tutorials, and end‑to‑end sample projects would add tremendous value and help partners implement AI solutions more consistently.
This would also strengthen UiPath’s position compared to other AI platforms, because documentation is often the first thing clients look for when evaluating maturity and readiness.
