What Happens When Changed From Only Host Feed To Only Tenant Feed?

What happens when there is a change from Only Host Feed to Only Tenant Feed?

  • If changed from "Only Host Feed" to "Only Tenant Feed", essentially, the packages become tenant-specific. Initially, all the packages that were published were available at the host level and accessible by all tenants. However, after the change, newly published packages will only be available within the specific tenant to which the Orchestrator belongs.
  • Note: The already published packages in the Host feed will not be automatically moved or replicated to the Tenant feed. They will remain in the Host feed until manually moved or republished to the Tenant feed.
  • This is useful if there are tenant-specific packages that are not to be shared with other tenants. But, remember that any changes need to be carefully considered as this will require management on a per-tenant basis and may potentially cause issues in accessing packages if not properly managed.
  • Also, consider possible necessary adjustments in the Robots because they will start to consume packages from the Tenant feed and not from the Host feed.
