A software requirements specification (SRS) is a description of a software system to be developed, software requirements specifications can help prevent software project failure. The software requirements specification document lists sufficient and necessary requirements for the project development. And the key elements of SRS are,

  1. Functional requirements of the system
  2. Non-functional requirements of the system
  3. Goals of implementation
