Hey Steve G! Pleasure to meet you…Long story - in short, lucky on timing being in the early two thousands mixed with growing up dirt poor and fear of remaining that way with an aptitude for business / real estate / and financing while becoming knowledgeable in taxation along the way way with a mind hungry for technology and automation + working twice as long / hard / & efficiently as those in my market allowed me to excel to a solid position for the long haul. I am looking to automate the high majority of administrative work in property management administration and see how I can gain advantages in the market place. Sorry to hear that you were laid off, but with the $600 + from the fed on top of UI , it may not be so bad for now 
… lets see what we can learn and how we can apply it!
