WebAPI Package : Unable to install

Studio version - 2023.4.4

These are package version already used in the Project.

When I tried to install Package - UiPath.WebAPI.Activities, I am facing issues. It’s not able to install the package

If I intsall lower version, then activity (HTTP Request) shows error in designer panel.

How to solve this?

Hi @rifna_nahas,

Studio 2023.4.4 is too old for WebAPI 2.3.x, which is why the install fails. The new HTTP Request (HttpClient activity in your snap) activity exists only in 2.3.x, which is why older versions can’t render it.

To fix this issue you have 2 options:

  • Stay on Studio 2023.4.4 and install an older WebAPI version (1.x.y). Then delete the broken “HttpClient” activity, re-add the HTTP Request activity from that version, and reconfigure the endpoint, headers, body and output variables. You can’t keep the new activity on this Studio version.
  • Upgrade Studio to a 2025.x release that supports WebAPI 2.3.x. The existing activity then renders as-is. Ensure you upgrade the robots to match before you deploy.
