Wait for Download - Exit before Timeout?

Hi

I am using Wait for Download to download file.

Now the button has 2 functions,

  1. Checks to see if files it ready and if not a UI message appears.
  2. Its its ready it will start to download the file.

The problem is the files are quite larges so the timeout is about 5 mins. Now if press the download button and No 1. happens I have to wait for the timeout before i try again.

Is there a way to escape the timeout for Downloading?

Hello! What do you mean by “checks to see if file is ready”? What system is preparing it?

Can you share a sample workflow? Maybe there’s a better way of achieving what you’re trying to achieve.

The short answer is no, you can’t exit before the timeout, but I’m trying to understand why you would need to do that.
