I am exploring the use of Trigger Scope to manage complex SAP workflows, where the behavior of the SAP GUI dynamically changes based on process variable values. This approach is intended to create more dynamic and responsive workflows, significantly reducing the need for extensive conditional checks like “Check App State” or monitoring status bar messages.
However, I am encountering an issue when trying to use the Application Event Trigger with SAP GUI elements. Specifically, when I attempt to indicate an element in the SAP GUI, UiPath throws the following error: HRESULT: 0x80040317.
Here are some additional details about the setup:
SAP Scripting is enabled on both the client and server sides.
The rest of the workflow executes perfectly without issues, suggesting that the scripting configuration is correct.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue while using Trigger Scope with SAP workflows? If so, do you know of any workarounds or best practices to resolve this?
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
