Using Native Citrix Recording Wizard without extension & run time component

I am automating a citrix application. I am currently using Image recording wizard.

If I don’t have the Citrix extension and run time component installed in the studio and citrix server respectively, What difference will it make to use Image recording wizard and Native citrix recording wizard?

I can see that native citrix recording wizard is working without the mentioned pre-requisities…but, question is does it have any better value than image recording wizard if we use in such way?

Hi,
With the Citrix extension and run time component you could address elements in automated application using selectors like regular desktop app - which is more reliable.
Without you will depend on image recognition.
