- user signing into UiPath assistant
- shows navigation page and then user is immediately logged out
- verified user has correct (attended) license allocated
- clicks the sign in button, browser opens to verify log in complete
- opens assistant and gets the navigation quick tour page for a split second and goes back to the sign in screen.
- also tried to sign in through preference page and use our orchestrator url and also gone through the below steps
- 2023.4.7
- i have assistant installed as service mode on vdi’s with same version using machine key and did not have the same issue
@chris.dease Please check whether the affected machine is installed in Service Mode. If yes, try connecting it through Assistant → Preferences → Orchestrator Settings using the Machine Key, similar to your working VDIs.
If you want to use Interactive Sign-In for an attended user, try repairing/reinstalling the Robot in User Mode and verify that Interactive Sign-In is enabled in Orchestrator.
One specific thing for attended users assistant must be installed in user mode
If installed in service then first connect with machine key and then use sign in
Cheers
Hi @chris.dease ,
Immediate logout after successful authentication is most commonly caused by corrupted local Assistant/WebView2 cache, profile restrictions on the VDI, or a network/proxy issue preventing the authentication token from being stored correctly.
Thanks
Hi @chris.dease
Since the Attended license is already assigned and the browser authentication completes successfully, this looks more like a session/token or Assistant installation-mode issue rather than a licensing issue.
I would first confirm whether 2023.4.7 is installed in User Mode or Service Mode, verify Interactive Sign-In is enabled for the tenant, then check the Assistant/Robot logs immediately after the automatic logout.
Reinstall or switch the robot to User Mode, as interactive sign-in requires it for attended users.
Make sure interactive login is permitted by going to:
Admin / Tenant > Settings > Robot security > Allow interactive sign-in
Alternatively, if keeping Service Mode, connect first using your machine template key under:
UiPath Assistant > Preferences > Orchestrator Settings > Connection Type (Machine Key)
can you verify how to check these logs?
we’ve followed and confirmed all of these suggestions
UiPath logs can be check from here C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\UiPath\Logs
Cheers
