Use UiExplorer for feasibility analysis, without install Studio?

Hi,

A customer wants to automate a process. The application used in this process will be changed (for another) in 1 year.

He asks me to estimate the portability of an RPA development on the current application towards the future application (already installed).

The eligible process identification for RPA is a significant workload.

Sometimes to allow/help to validate or not a process, it would be convenient to use UiExplorer autonomously Studio, directly on the pc of the client (for my case it would avoid several days of waiting to have access permissions from my environment of development).

@decalajoraire - I do not think it is possible to use UiExplorer without installing UiPath Studio.

Hi all, As we all know it’s sometimes hard to convince customers to make a commitment (f.e. involve IT) without knowing first that they will for sure get the benefit. On the other hand, it might be difficult to properly assess workload for a project without knowing how the interaction will look like from robot perspective. Obviously, best case scenario is to check with full Studio and do a PoC, but that’s not always feasible. With above in mind - would it be possible to extract UiExplorer as…
