Use Read PDF Text or Excel Application Scope directly in Sharepoint

Hi!

I’m using Microsoft Office 365 Scope, configured. I have a folder in sharepoint with PDFs and Excels… With for each, i want to extract some fields of this files. Is possible use Read PDF Text and Excel Application Scope with a path of web (https://sharepoint(…))? Or i have to download each file that i pretend extract fields, to a local folder and after that give to activities a local path (C://userExample/(…))?

Hi @joao.alves,

From my experience, you will have to either download the file from web SharePoint, or map the SharePoint to file explorer.

When u say “Map sharepoint to file explorer” means synchronize sharepoint in my laptop (local path?)
