Use functions inside Invoke Code

I am new in Uipath and I am curious inside Invoke Code can I write Functions? I tried but It always errors coming up.

Note: Classes, modules, methods or procedures cannot be defined in the Invoke Code activity, but variables’ declarations and instructions are coded directly by using the code editor.
