Use case floating robot

Hi,
I don’t exactly understand how the floating robots work. As I understand from the ‘About Robots’ page they are useful when different users work on the same machine.
But let’s say I have five users on five different physical machines. All of them do the same process at a different time of the day. This process could be simplified with an attended bot. Is it possible to use a floating robot in this scenario so that all the users have access to the robot but only one at a time?
