Use Browser Chrome can not comunicate with with the browser - UiPath Extension

Since Monday, all automaton that use chrome in Incognito mode can not communicate anymore. The UiPath extension is still there, updated and the incognito mode is activated as it was before. Any idea what could cause this issue?

Check whether Chrome was updated recently. Reinstalling the UiPath Chrome extension and re-enabling Allow in Incognito is worth trying, even if it appears enabled already.

Also verify:

  • Chrome version compatibility with your UiPath Studio/Robot version.
  • Extension status in chrome://extensions.
  • Whether the issue occurs in normal Chrome mode as well.

Thanks for the extended respond, but I tried all mentioned workarounds and nothing works for me. In adittion, I can share a couple of more information.

  • UiPath Browser Automation 26.10
  • Chrome is up-to-date Versie 149.0.7827.54 (Officiële build) (64-bits)
  • UiPath Studio 2025.10.12 LTS Enterprice License

@Luiza_Surdu-Bob your inputs here please!

Hi @martin.parovski ,

This configuration should work. However, it would be helpful to confirm the UIAutomation package version.

We have identified that some out-of-support UIAutomation 22.4.x versions are not compatible with the updated Chrome extension version 26.10. Specifically, versions 22.4.3 to 22.4.7 are impacted, while version 22.4.8 and later work correctly.
In this case we recommend upgrading to at least UIAutomation version 22.4.8.
