Upload Attached Files in Gmail to Google Drive

Is there a quick way to upload files attached in gmail to Google Drive?

Details: I have a gmail folder, and all emails in the folder have pdf files. I would like to upload these pdf files into a folder located inside Google Drive. I want to do this directly from gmail to Google Drive.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to do that, so I am achieving it in a long process like (1)Create a temporary folder in local environment, (2) Save all attachment files from gmail to the local folder, (3) Upload files using “Upload File” activity stored in GSuite Package, and (4)Delete the temporary local folder.

This works and does the job, but this seems like a long process, and I feel like there must be an easier and more direct way to upload files from gmail to Google Drive.
Can anyone tell me about it?

Hi @tomato25,

I’m also looking for a solution for this issue. Were you able to solve it?

I’m running the process unattended in a VM and don’t want to download the attachments to a local folder (even if it’s temporary).
