Upgrading Unattended Robot VM from 2021.10 to 2023 version

Hi Team,

We are asked to update our Unattended Robot VM from 2021.10 to 2023 version for supporting third party application integration with UiPath.

But we have 200+ existing process deployed in production ( Excel, Outlook, Sap, Web automations). I guess this upgrade can impact our workflows.

If anyone can help us with the best possible way to achieve this upgrade.

check this documentation for upgradation

if Initial version is 2021.10.x then You must upgrade to 2022.10.0-2022.10.9 first, and then to 2023.4.x. for best you can connect with UiPath support for best approach.

Hi @rds0511 , It was working fine for all and the processes are working fine. But it ws good if you first cross check all the rpocess for 1 time.

Have you felt the need for changing package versions or package not found for any of your processes after upgrade @chandreshsinh.jadeja @armilaswain98 @ashokkarale

UiPath provides pretty much backward compatibility. So, thumb rule here, if it’s not broken then don’t touch it :smiley:

Try to do POC on single machine if any breaking changes are there or not. Good luck :crossed_fingers:

Hi @rds0511 First check on one machine after upgrading the robot and if ran smoothly, then don’t touch it.

But some packages name may be different if your peocess move from windows legacy to windows.
