Upgrade from 2019.4 to 2020.10.4

Hi,

pls help can anyone share a checklist template for doing the upgrade to 2020.10.4?
any tip or suggestion to facilitate the upgrade?

am.planning to run the orchestrtor.msi installation… any additional steps to be done?

Also take the snapshots of the VM / Database which you can revert back if the upgrade fails

can the upgrade be done on the clone?
is there a consolidated project plan for the upgrade tht can b followed?

Usually we first try in the development environment, once the upgrade is successfully we will proceed to upgrade on remaining environments

yes sure will test on development environments.

will cloning the environments and run the installer orchestrator msi be ok?
is there other changes in configuration to do?

usually this upgrade take how longs ?

Cloning may require another VM, instead take snapshot, then you can easily roll back if you are encountered any issues

Update won’t take much time, but just make sure that all the prerequisites are followed as per the docs
