Upgrade database version

My current DB is Microsoft SQL server 2014, can it be upgraded to SQL server 2017.

Welcome to the Community !

Yes, you can definetly upgrade from 2014 to 2017 / the latest version of SQL. This will not cause any issue with Insights. Keep an eye on Microsoft Licensing & ensure you take a full back up all the Databases before you upgrade (just in case).
