Update SSL Certificate for Action Center

Hi team,
I need to update the certificate for the Action Center(on-prem).
Can somebody please share the steps to be performed for the same?

Follow below steps:

  1. Acquire New Certificate*: Obtain a new SSL certificate from a trusted Certificate Authority (CA).

  2. Export Certificate*: Export the new certificate to a .pfx file, including the private key. Remember to note the password for the .pfx file.

  3. Backup Old Certificate*: Make a backup of the existing certificate and key from your server to avoid any loss of information.

  4. Import New Certificate*:

  • Open Microsoft Management Console (MMC) on your server.
  • Add the Certificates snap-in for the Local Computer account.
  • Navigate to the Personal certificate store and import the new .pfx file.
  1. Bind Certificate in IIS*:
  • Open IIS Manager on your server.
  • Locate the UiPath Action Center site within the IIS Manager.
  • In the Actions pane, click on Bindings.
  • Add or edit the HTTPS binding to use the new certificate.
  1. Restart IIS*: Execute the iisreset command from a command prompt to restart IIS, or alternatively, restart the IIS services through the IIS Manager.

  2. Test the Configuration*: Access the Action Center URL to verify that the new certificate is functioning correctly and is securely serving content.

8.Update Configurations*: If UiPath Orchestrator or any other related services were previously configured with the old certificate, ensure to update them with the new certificate details.
