Update roles after setting the asset "value per user"

Hi,

I initially had “Automation User” role

Assigned “Asset” with “Value per User”

But realized the role is not working for “Set Asset”

Then I added “Robot” role to the users.

Will this new role reflect on the Assets? or do I need to remove and add the asset again?

To perform the “Set Asset” action, users need the Assets → Edit permission. Since the “Automation User” role doesn’t include this permission, users may not be able to set asset values with just this role. To resolve this, you can either add the Robot role to the users or create a new role with the necessary permissions.

Once the new role or permission is assigned, there’s no need to delete or re-add the asset. Users will be able to work with the asset as soon as the permissions are updated.

Yes it would reflect

But just check if robots role has assets exit permissions …mostly it might not…you might need to add a custom role for that
