The selector is dynamic and the “aaname” is not causing any restrictions but why is it present in the Editor along with “class” and “type” when it is unselected in UI Explorer?
The “open in UI explorer” thing only works right for the strict selector. The fuzzy appears to take whatever you’ve selected the strict selector, plus others. You’ll just have to manually edit the text of the selector which you can do right in the indicate window.
That is very confusing. Why is there an UI Explorer button:
I have assumed that the things I edit in there(UI Explorer) is affecting the Fuzzy selector is it not?
“The fuzzy appears to take whatever you’ve selected the strict selector, plus others”
What if the Strict selector is unselected:
Will the fuzzy still use whatever appears in the strict selector even if it is unselected?
Also what is “plus others”.
“You’ll just have to manually edit the text of the selector which you can do right in the indicate window.”
When you say indicate window, do you mean this?:
All in all I cant be the only one that thinks this is confusing?
It doesn’t matter that strict selector is unselected. It still has a value.
Yes it is confusing that the UI Explorer button appears next to Fuzzy. “Plus others” means other properties that aren’t part of the strict selector. Some of the things Fuzzy uses like check-text can’t be in the strict selector, they’re only supported by fuzzy.
Yes that’s what I mean, just directly edit the selector text in that box.
