Unattended Setup

Hi all,

Trying to setup for unattended, I have a Win Server 2022 DC and remote access is on and I am able to remote into it no problem but, when I try to setup for unattended and I create a robot and I put all the necessary details, it shows up the error “You are not authorized to access the partition with id /////-//////-//…”

I have all necessary perms under my tenant and I haven’t had this problem a few months ago- it was working fine but this appeared out of nowhere.

I would appreciate your suggestions

Regards.

@fustian

  1. Did you enable run as well?
  2. is the user setup for login/as robot?

cheers

Hi @fustian

Might be due to temp. issue but you can try to restart UiPath Robot service. If needed, recreate robot and machine in Orchestrator.

If helpful, mark as solution. Happy automation with UiPath

Hi @fustian ,

Did you resolve your problem? I’m facing it now and don’t really know what to do.

Regards.

Hi @fustian

Can you verify the following

  1. On the Robot machine, open the Robot tray and verify the tenant URL, machine key, and environment are correct.
  2. If you had recently updated Orchestrator version or changed license model, verify unattended license is still valid.
  3. Make sure the user you are using to logging into for the unattended robot has not lost credentials or permissions

Hi Mateusz,

Not exactly.

Checked over everything, all seemed fine- I had all permissions.
Had a ticket open with UiPath, they threw out a few ideas but nothing they said was the problem. *They said it most likely could be a license issue.

I was able to get a robot created in the end, I asked somebody that has full admin access and not just tenant access to just create the robot for me and I was able to manage/change it afterwards.

Not sure if you have full access or not, extremely strange for you if you do have admin perms. *I’d try to move the unattended license to a different tenant and then back.

Regards.

Thanks for the reply.

I do have full admin rights, but was writing in the name of a user who has tenant admin.

In my case, the problem is the same, but from the other perspective. I can create the robot in unattended setup, but the user cannot. It is weird and a pain 'cause the user has all the permissions needed, yet he still needs my assistance.

Welp, if I figure something out I’ll let you know.

Glad to know I am not the only person with this issue. I have never heard of this before and unfortunately I cannot mess around in the admin panel.

Please do! This has stumped me.

Appreciate it.
