Unattended robot fails if using image based selectors

I am having issues getting a robot to run.
It currently runs on one machine but not another (we have two different production systems with different software).

Both machines are connected, and the license is applied in orchestrator to the environment and shows up (as expected since one is running)

The machine shows as connected and with a production unattended runtime, but when I go to monitoring it shows the machine as “unlicensed” which is not correct

Robot is configured

job hangs out as pending allocation

When opening assistant it originally said “connected as unattended robot” but it had an error that said “could not retrieve license please sign in” so I signed in and now it shows attended automations and that its “connected” to my user and licensed… and still wont run an automation

Robot services is active on my VM. (you cant see user services in the photo but it is running)

And a little more clarity, IF the robot does not have any image based selectors it seems to work fine, BUT we have robots that require OCR and they fail (presumably because the screen is “locked”). But the parts of the robot that are selector based work just fine in the background…
