How can I change the connection status in UiPath assistant from unattended to licenced in community version of UiPath?
What method are you signing in to orchestrator from Assistant. If you are not using service url, try to signin with service url from assistant, so if you have attended license available, it should be able to automatically connect.
Do I need to buy enterprise version for getting a licenced connection?
I didnt understand. Iam using UiPath 1st time.
hi @Anagha_B
You can log out from the assistant , and try login using Service Url (for eg:https://cloud.uipath.com ) , once your login is successful , it will take sometime for the assistant to be online .
Community version is free and is used for learning , and exploring UiPath platform , you can create attended bots.
Licensed version have extended features like creating Unattended bots , features of triggers etc .
And you need to have enterprise license for having a licensed connection .
Based on Automation Cloud - About licensing , the Community organization has 1 Unattended robot license associated with it.
So, you need to install the robot by using the installer and choose Custom → Install for all users on this computer → Unattended robot
In UiPath Assistant you will use the Client ID connection type and you will provide Orchestrator URL, Client ID and Client secret from your Machine template.
More detail you will find here Robot - Deploying Unattended Robots - Community License
I need to do some automation of MS Teams based chatbot application using UiPath. For that do I need to enterprise version or am i able to do it with community version?
