Unable to use the same variable twice

I have not declared any variables in the project yet, I have just entered the specific variable in the appropriate place. And when I attempt to add the same variable once again, I am given an error message once I press enter or click away.

I have tried to locate the variable to change the scope but I am not able to locate it even under the variable tab itself.
