Unable to use extension for chrome and edge

Hi All,

I have tried multiple ways to install the extension but its getting below error and due to that I am not able to use any activities for my workflow. Due to this error I am getting “Cannot communicate with browser”

Is this your personal machine or Company laptop/desktop.

If company machine then there is high possibility of security policies restricting the installation correctly. Get in touch with the infra team.

Have you tried with UIAutomation package to latest one version.

You can refer to the troubleshooting guide recommendations in the official docs: Studio - Check if ChromeNativeMessaging.exe is running

Hi @pankajdhane

Looks like the UiPath Chrome extension native part isn’t installed or got corrupted, so Studio can’t talk to Chrome.
Close Chrome and Studio, reinstall the Chrome extension from UiPath Studio (Tools → Browser Extensions), restart once, and make sure the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions.
