Unable to use activity from package UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities

Hi, I recently installed a new package for UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities to utilize Classify Document and Extract Document Data activities using Generative AI. However, I am unable to use these activities as expected, as shown in the screenshot above.

I’m using UiPath Studio 22.4.9.

These are all packages I’ve installed in the project:
UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities = 2.12.1
UiPath.Excel.Activities = 2.22.2
UiPath.Mail.Activities = 1.18.2
UiPath.System.Activities = 23.10.3
UiPath.UIAutomation.Activities = 23.10.3

The screenshot below shows an example of the working activities panel under the UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities package, but my activity panel is not appearing like below:

Can anyone assist or provide guidance on why this is happening? Could it be that my Studio version is incompatible with the UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities package?

Try installing the lower version of the package - UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities. If the package latest version isn’t compatible with your Studio version, Studio usually shows a waring or information about it.

For any generative activities you need 24.x

To verify the compatibility open the manage packages and in description it would ideally list the minimum version needed for studio …can check there

So far I have tried installing lower version such as 2.2.0, 2.4.0, 2.9.0, & 2.12.0 and I’m still unable to use the activities from this package.

You can ignore the looks of the activity if you are getting properties and other options of the activity correctly.

Are you able to configure it?

I could not configure the activities, as the activity was not functional. However, this issue was fixed by upgrading my Studio version from 22.4.9 to 23.10.

Now I’m able to use all the activities under UiPath.DocumentUnderstanding.Activities package.

Appreciate your input on this issue!
