Unable to set XML in Settext Activity

I’m setting the string (auth:CREDter343wd</auth:CRED>) using Set Text Activity in textarea in the webpage but only ter343wd alone is set and omitting xml tags it in. Can you please help?

I tried with Set Text Activity and it’s working fine from my end.

It is working fine for me if the string is plain text but it is xml then it is not working. Please let me know
