Unable To Set Selector For Save Vendor Popup - ACME Academy Website

So basically, when this popup is active in Edge, UiPath will hang on loading the indicator, and if I try to load the indicator tool before clicking save, and then using the pause feature to have the tool active at the same time as the popup, then it will get stuck on “searching for application”:

So my question is, am I doing something wrong? I never reach the spy mode where I can set my selector and anchor. There’s something about this popup that trips up UiPath, which is surprising as this is their own site used for educational purposes in their academy course.

It’s only logical to want to validate on the popup once we’ve clicked the save vendor button.

Now if only I was allowed to enter the indicator tool, then I could use vision selection or something, but the UiPath hangs and hijacks my computer for a good minute or two when I attempt this.

Try adding a Use Application/Browser and see if you can indicate the popup. It may be seen as a separate window.

Thanks for your suggestion. The popup does not appear as it’s own application if I try to indicate in a new “use application” activity. Also, the indicator tool completely hijacks my system when it hangs, I can’t even access task manager as neither my keyboard or mouse works, since the screen is locked in “indication” mode.
