My UiPath license expired on February 14, 2025, and I am trying to revert to the Community License, but I am facing issues in the process. I would appreciate your guidance on how to successfully switch back to the Community Edition.
you need to delete and recreate a new org or use a different email id
you would have started a free trail and if free trail expires by default it goes to free plan and not community
cheers
After the expiration of your Pro Trial license, your license will automatically switch to a Citizen Developer License, allowing you to access Studio X. If you wish to revert to the Community License, you will need to change the organization associated with your account. However, this will prevent you from using the Pro Trial license again, although you will still have access to Studio.
Alternatively, if you create a new account with a different email address, you will receive the Community License and be able to use the Pro Trial license once more.
Hope it helps!!
I have submitted a support ticket to UiPath to retrieve the community license for my cloud account, and received the following response. However, I’m still unsure about who the Account Owner is.
Support team also can’t do anything on upgrading Citizen Developer license to Community because those are all the license policy of UiPath.
So you are better to follow any one of the approach… @manasrlenka25
Hope you understand!!
you need to delete and recreate or use a different email and signup…those are the only two options
cheers
I am able to retrieve my UiPath Community license within 10 minutes of creating a support ticket on UiPath.
