Unable to open .xamls

Hi, I am unable to open any xaml files and getting below error:

also if it occured after installing new studio its better you do a fresh new installation again

Hey @madhukar.anand close UiPath Studio and delete the folders %localappdata%\UiPath and %userprofile%\.nuget\packages\uipath.* only delete UiPath packages not all NuGet packages then restart UiPath Studio and try opening the .xaml file again. It will restore the dependencies again.

Hi @madhukar.anand

Could you please confirm:

  1. is this error appearing for all xaml files in all rpa projects or just a specific project?
  2. if you create a new project from scratch and open xaml’s, are you able to do so?
  3. Have you considered closing all studio instances and restarting the same?
  4. When you click on Details in your error popup, what is the full exception shown there? Kindly share.

Thankyou everyone for your responses. I have fixed the issue. Was getting this:

Downgraded “UiPath.Excel.Activities”, restarted the Studio and it worked.
