Unable to make RDP connection to Cloud Robot VM

i) Unable to see "i"(information) icon for RDP connection to cloud Robot VM ii) Unable to make RDP connection to cloud robot VM(Error Message: Failed to enable remote desktop. Feature can only be enabled on a computer on IPv4)

There is a current limitation where Access to Cloud Robot VM through IPv6 is disabled, due to severe networking issues that impact the usability of the product.

As a workaround, try the below steps,

  1. Disable IPv6 on the user system
    • Open Network Connections:
      • Press Win + X and select "Network Connections" or open the "Control Panel" and navigate to "Network and Sharing Center" and then click on "Change adapter settings."
    • Locate the Network Adapter:
      • Identify the network adapter for which you want to disable IPv6. Right-click on the adapter and select "Properties."
    • Uncheck IPv6:
      • In the properties window, locate "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" and uncheck the box next to it
    • Apply Changes:
      • Click "OK" to apply the changes
    • Restart the Network Adapter:
      • To ensure that the changes take effect, restart the network adapter. Disable and then enable the network adapter, or restart the system.
  2. Disable RDP(if enabled) on the Cloud Robot VM from UI
  3. Stop and Start the Cloud Robot VM from UI
  4. Re-enable RDP for the Cloud Robot VM. This should make the "i" icon appear on the UI and fix the RDP connection issue.
