i) Unable to see "i"(information) icon for RDP connection to cloud Robot VM ii) Unable to make RDP connection to cloud robot VM(Error Message: Failed to enable remote desktop. Feature can only be enabled on a computer on IPv4)
There is a current limitation where Access to Cloud Robot VM through IPv6 is disabled, due to severe networking issues that impact the usability of the product.
As a workaround, try the below steps,
- Disable IPv6 on the user system
- Open Network Connections:
- Press Win + X and select "Network Connections" or open the "Control Panel" and navigate to "Network and Sharing Center" and then click on "Change adapter settings."
- Locate the Network Adapter:
- Identify the network adapter for which you want to disable IPv6. Right-click on the adapter and select "Properties."
- Uncheck IPv6:
- In the properties window, locate "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" and uncheck the box next to it
- Apply Changes:
- Click "OK" to apply the changes
- Restart the Network Adapter:
- To ensure that the changes take effect, restart the network adapter. Disable and then enable the network adapter, or restart the system.
- Open Network Connections:
- Disable RDP(if enabled) on the Cloud Robot VM from UI
- Stop and Start the Cloud Robot VM from UI
- Re-enable RDP for the Cloud Robot VM. This should make the "i" icon appear on the UI and fix the RDP connection issue.
