Unable to get format of excel file

Hi All,

I am facing problem while writing cell in worksheets of workbook, whatever value is typing in workbook cells it is giving either textformat or generic…no matter if value numeric or date …is there anyway so that right format is acquired while writing cell?
Or is there any way to put format on desire cell and get rid of green popup in excel cells?

Hi @vaneet_kumar,

Can you format the columns of your excel file to be numeric or date or string, before writing the cell in this workbook.

After making changes to the excel, then use write cell and then see whether the value is still generic or of a particular type.

Thanks Anil,
if datatable is huge then it will create lots of manual work.So i am looking for any activity or any option in UIpath.
