Unable to find the screenscrapping option in mordern uipath

Hi Team,

In UiPath community edition version - 2023.12.0 I am not able to view the screenscrapping option.

Steps followed to resolve the issue.
Home-settings-Design-*Here is the problem.
I am not able to see the option - Use Mordern For new Projects

Can someone help me on this please.

Hi @saramadar If you have enterprise license you will have an option to download the last previous five versions of UiPath Studio. If you are using Community version of Studio, the update for 2023.12.0 have removed the classic switch option. So, what ever the project is being created they will be created as modern project only. Change of Modern/ Classic Design Experience disabled

Hi @ext-o Classic design is Deprecated in the new update of UiPath Studio. The option to switch from Classic to Modern is grayed off. If you create a new project now, then it will be in Modern design experience by default. You can use the Classic activities in modern design experience project, but you cannot create a new classic project. If you want to use classic activities, Go to Activities panel → Click on Filter → Enable Classic. Hope it helps!!

For Data Scraping you can use Extract Table Data.

In modern version there is no screen scraping and data scraping

For Screen scraping-App or web recorder
For data scraping-Table extraction

if you want to see classic activities.Go to activities ,click on filter and enable classic activities
By enabling classic also you don’t see the Screen scraping and data scraping.

Can you share the screenshot of Json file @sarala_institute

After making the changes in json file. save that and reopen the project. It should work.

Check out the below project folder.

Change the project name at highlighted place according to yours. and the project file name will get changed.
