Hi,

unable to download mail attachment when attachment name contains these symbols (,[,),]

I am using UIPATH PRO 2020.4.1 Community License
My mail activity version is 1.8.5

I used IMAP Mail message to get Mails. All the attachment are downloading fine with save attachment activity but it’s not downloading the attachments, if the name contains these symbols (,[,),]
Ex - XXXXX ( XX XXXXXXX 30-30-60.87977 Rev. 1).pdf
Can someone help me to resolve this issue.

Do anyone encountered till now. Seems this is hapening when we are using IMAP Mail message.

Hi,

This is because the system does not save any file containing these types of symbols.
You can try renaming the files, before saving them to the system.

Either replace the symbols with an underscore or some space, so that becomes easy for you to judge the type of file.
