Unable to delete object repository library

Hello,
this is my issue:

  • i created an object repository

  • created the descriptors

  • and then published it as library

  • Then i used it within a process

  • Then i uninstalled the object repository in the process

  • deleted the library of the object repository in the orchestrator

  • deleted the descriptor files

  • Then i made a change

  • and created the descriptor files again

  • and published it again (with a change).

  • When i now install the most recently published package in the process, it installes the old (deleted) descriptors.

To me this means that the library has not been deleted.
I really do not understand, why it is not possible to delete the library.

Does anyone has an idea, what i am doing wrong?

Best regards,
Jo

I extracted the descriptors with a different name and published it as a library with a different name and it worked.
But i really do not know why it is not possible to delete the library and then publish it with the same name again.

When you republished it, did you publish with the same version number? When automations run, the packages are downloaded from Orchestrator to the robot server. If you republish with the same version, it won’t know there is something new to download. There’s no point to deleting it all and then republishing - just publish with a new version.

Hi Paul,
thanks for the reply.
Yes, i republished with 1.0.1 (fresh version number).
But i thought that after deleting the previous version really should be deleted.
Best regards, Jo
