but still getting this issue. i am using UiPath 2124.10.9 version on my virtual machine.

my robot is connected as unattended but in yellow color not in green

help me to resolve this @Anil_G @ppr @ashokkarale

@Mathkar_kunal,

That’s the expected behavior. When robot is connected as Unattended it will show orange symbol.

Are you facing any issue while running any bot’s on the machine?

ok but for machine it is showing failed please see screenshot even in UiPath it is showing robot error after connected as unattended

@Mathkar_kunal,

Ok so you are not looking for Unattended setup but a development environment setup. Am I right?

Hi @Mathkar_kunal

Seems like License issue, pls check below thread might be helpful.

@Mathkar_kunal

What you connected is unattended and in unattended you are not supposed to use studio but only run robots

Cheers

Have you assigned your windows credentials to robot ?

To create a robot and machine and connect it to UiPath Assistant, first go to cloud.uipath.com, click on the 9 dots in the left corner to access Orchestrator, then navigate to Admin > Accounts & Groups > Robot Accounts, click Add Robot Account, provide a name like “DemoRobot”, and save it. Next, assign roles to the robot by going to Tenant > Manage Access, select Robot Accounts, click on Assign Robot Account, search for your robot, assign roles (all except Administrator), check Run Only One Job At A Time, and under Unattended Setup enter the Windows Domain/Username (find it via whoami in CMD) along with the System Password, then click Next and Assign. After this, create a machine by going to Tenant > Machines, click Add Machine > Machine Template, give it a name like “DemoMachine”, select Production (Unattended), click Provision, and copy the Machine Key and Orchestrator URL. Now, open UiPath Assistant, go to Preferences > Orchestrator Settings, sign out if needed, select Machine Key as the connection type, paste the Orchestrator URL and Machine Key, click Connect, and then Sign in; the status should show as Connected (Unattended).

verify that all the steps you performed is mentioned here or not if you skipped then do that also if you find your solution then mark this as solution
thank you

Hi @Mathkar_kunal

If your robot is connected as unattended and you are trying to open/use studio, you need to first enable troubleshooting session from orchestrator.

For unattended robot, you can use studio for only troubleshooting purposes not actual development.

Troubleshooting session lasts for 2160 minutes and then disable automatically, so you would need to re-enable it again after 2160 minutes are over.

Once you enable the troubleshooting session for your machine, robot error will go away.

To enable, do

  1. Go to Tenant, then select Monitoring.
  2. Select Unattended sessions from the Section dropdown menu.
  3. Identify the machine where the error occurred, select More Actions at the end of the machine row, and then select Configure troubleshooting session.
  4. Enable it and provide 2100 minutes in there
  5. Restart UiPath studio.

It should work post that.
