UiPath + zScope(AS400 system) terminal connection error

Hello all, Hope you are doing well.

I have been facing an error while connecting AS400 system(zScope Classic V6.5) with UiPath studio(2024.10.1) and Terminal package(v2.8.1).

  • I am using a virtual machine(USA), connecetd via citrix to develop the automation.
  • I did not find any access issues with application when interacted manually.
  • The application speed is fair enough.

I have all the connection details and tried direct connection. First it did not connect, It randomly got connected one day and I thought the issue was resolved but from the next day it did not connect again. There were no changes made on the machine when it worked or before or later. It is a new machine. Here are connectin details:

Then, we have installed acshllapi(IBMiAccess V1.1) to establish a connection using IBM EHLLAPI. Below are the connection details:

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Let me know in case you would require more details.

Note: I have tried various combinations(Encoding, Terminal Mode) under direct connection and also combinations(EHLL dll, EHLL encoding, EHLL enhanced, basic mode, Run in process) under IBM EHLLAPI and different Terminal packages(v2.8.0, 2.7.0, 2.6.0 etc.) and was not able to establish a connection.
