Uipath Web Studio queries

I was exploring the UiPath Web for my learning and exploration purposes and wanted to know some details about the same, my questions are as follows, please help me figure these out:-

  1. How is the access to the web studio managed in case of a bigger team.
  2. What is the cost of this feature in case someone wants to accommodate this in their existing orchestrator.
  3. What are the basic requirements in case someone wants to have UiPath Web for development, testing and Production deployment.
  4. How different is the production deployment with web studio as compared to conventional UiPath Studio.

Osho

  1. Access Management for Web Studio:

    • Access to UiPath Web Studio for a bigger team can be managed through UiPath Orchestrator. Orchestrator allows you to create and manage roles and permissions for users. You can specify who has access to Web Studio and what actions they can perform.
    • You can define roles and permissions, assign users to those roles, and control access to Web Studio accordingly. This ensures that team members have the appropriate level of access based on their responsibilities.
  2. Cost of UiPath Web Studio:

    • The cost of UiPath Web Studio is typically part of your UiPath subscription, especially if you have an enterprise-level license. However, pricing details can vary based on your organization’s specific needs and licensing agreements.
    • I recommend reaching out to UiPath’s sales or customer support team to get the most accurate and up-to-date pricing information for your organization.
  3. Requirements for UiPath Web for Development, Testing, and Production:

    • The specific requirements for UiPath Web Studio may depend on the version and updates released since my last knowledge update. However, generally, you would need:
      • Access to UiPath Orchestrator for managing Web Studio users and environments.
      • Supported web browsers for accessing Web Studio (e.g., Chrome, Firefox).
      • Adequate network infrastructure to ensure a smooth user experience.
      • Proper authentication mechanisms (often integrated with your organization’s identity provider) for user access.
  4. Production Deployment with Web Studio vs. Conventional UiPath Studio:

    • UiPath Web Studio is designed to provide a web-based development environment, which means you can create, edit, and manage automation projects directly in a web browser.
    • The main difference between Web Studio and the conventional UiPath Studio is the development environment. In Web Studio, everything is accessed and managed through a web interface, while conventional UiPath Studio is a desktop application.
    • Conventional UiPath Studio offers more advanced features and customization options for developers. It may be preferred for complex development tasks.
    • UiPath Web Studio is intended to provide a simplified, collaborative environment that may be more suitable for less experienced users or for quick, web-based automation development.

thank you a prompt response . this helps.
