When attempting to re-sync deleted Epics or Test Cases from Jira to UiPath Test Manager, the sync fails with the error: 'An Unexpected error occurred. The value for Key (objKey) is missing.'

Issue Description

When attempting to re-sync deleted Epics or Test Cases from Jira to UiPath Test Manager, the sync fails with the following error:

"An Unexpected error occurred. The value for Key (objKey) is missing."

Symptoms

  • Re-syncing deleted Epics or Test Cases from Jira to UiPath Test Manager fails.
  • The error message 'An Unexpected error occurred. The value for Key (objKey) is missing.' is displayed.

Resolution

  1. Access the 'User Management Console' for Planview Hub.
  2. Add the user account to the 'tasktopdeleteartifactpairs' group. This group grants the permissions needed to delete artifact pairs. See Managing Groups.
  3. In Planview Hub, navigate to 'Artifact Pairs'. Filter by the specific integration (Jira > UiPath Test Manager). Identify and delete the artifact pairs associated with the deleted Epics/Test Cases.

  1. After deleting the outdated pairs, retry the sync from Jira to UiPath Test Manager.
