UiPath Studio closes active project due to critical internal error after long usage

I have been facing this issue in UiPath Studio for quite a long time, across multiple versions of Studio.

After using Studio continuously for several hours, I sometimes get the following error and the active project gets closed automatically:

“Studio closed the active project due to a critical internal error (UiPath.Studio.Contracts.RecoverableException)”

Because of this, the project suddenly closes and I need to reopen it again. This has happened multiple times during development.

I am not sure if this is related to memory usage, long running Studio sessions, or some internal process termination.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I have attached the error screenshot for reference.

Any guidance would be really appreciated.

I’d like to raise this with our engineering team for investigation. To help us understand what might be causing the error, could you please generate a Diagnostics Tool export the next time the issue occurs and share it here?

You can use the UiPath Diagnostics Tool to collect the report. I’ve included the documentation below in case it’s helpful:

Once we receive the diagnostics report, I can proceed with filing this with the engineering team for further investigation.
