In this video, I explain how to customize the Kill Process state in UiPath REFramework.
By default, Kill Process targets all processes, but in real projects we often need a custom approach.
Here, I focus on Excel:
Ensuring Excel processes are closed properly
Flushing the COM cache to prevent hidden background instances
Avoiding errors like “Excel already running” or file lock issues
With this customization, bots become more stable and error-free when handling Excel automation in REFramework.
