Sorry if this is a dumb question, but are you installing it from a user account that has local Admin rights to that machine and/or did you run it as Administrator? Sometimes you can get errors related to Administrator privileges.
I haven’t personally run into this issue before, but seems it’s been a recent common problem. I know it’s a trial license, but I would suggest escalating to https://www.uipath.com/company/contact-us/contact-technical-support to see if they can help.
