UiPath Orchestrator - Permission missing: Remote Execution

Hi all!

I’m trying to launch a robot in a remote machine through a remote desktop connection using the UiPath Orchestrator and creating a new Job. However, when I try to start such Job it fails to run and in the Job Details can be seen the message “Permission missing: Remote Execution”.

How can I solve this issue?

Hi Marina,

This error is displayed when you are trying to run a process on a Robot without a license or with a Front Office license.

Check this post for Usual Orchestrator errors: Usual Orchestrator errors (FAQ) - Troubleshooting

If you have Orchestrator 2017.1 and the Robot has Attended license(Front Office), it wouldn’t appear anymore on Robots list in Start Job modal.
But if you have the 2016.2 version, please check if the Robot you are trying to Start the job on has Front Office license.

The same error message can be generated when trying to start a process on a 2016.2 Robot from 2018.2 Orchestrator. In this case, you should upgrade the robot version.
